Countdown to Book Launch

Finding the Way synopsis

Set in 1250 AD in northern Spain, the book tells the story of a young Basque girl, Amika, and her quest to find a new life. She is forced to run from her old life after her mother is burned at the stake for witchcraft. Amika flees to the forest where she learns the ways of the Old Ones, the pre-christian indigenous people of the Pyrennes. After finally being hunted down and arrested, she is forced to flee once again. Amika undertakes a “hero’s journey” to fulfill a mission as the price of her freedom. The journey takes place along the Camino de Santiago, an 800-year-old pilgrimage route across northern Spain where Amika learns the lessons of her destiny.
